West, Southwest Orange high school football games rescheduled

Due to Hurricane Milton's impacts, the area's high school football games have been moved, canceled, or are in limbo.

The impacts of Hurricane Milton have rippled through many sectors of life in West Orange and Southwest Orange County, including high school football in the area. 

After the area's schools canceled classes from Oct. 9-11, the Week Eight games scheduled for both Thursday and Friday nights have been moved, canceled, or are still in limbo. 

Here are updated schedules for the 12 area high school football teams. 


Updated football schedules

Central Florida Christian Academy (2-3)

  • CFCA will now travel to Trinity Prep at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14
  • CFCA now hosts Cornerstone Charter at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21

Dr. Phillips (6-0)

  • Week Eight game versus East Ridge High has been postponed. Time and date TBD

The First Academy (6-1)

  • TFA will now travel to Holy Trinity Episcopal at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28

Foundation Academy (2-4)

  • Week Eight game at Indian Rocks Christian has been canceled. Lions have added a game at Faith Christian, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14.

Horizon (0-6)

  • Horizon will now host South Lake at 6 p.m., Oct. 14.

Lake Buena Vista (2-3)

  • Week Eight game versus Davenport High has been postponed. Time and date TBD.

Olympia (2-4)

  • Olympia will now travel to Celebration High at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15.

West Orange (5-1)

  • West Orange will now travel to West Port High at 5 p.m. Oct. 14.

Windermere (6-0)

  • Windermere now hosts Oak Ridge High at 5 p.m. Oct. 14.
