Windermere to host First Responder Essential Worker Appreciation Day

The event is a special opportunity for locals to express gratitude to the dedicated individuals who keep the community safe, restore essential services and facilitate recovery efforts.

The town of Windermere plans to host its inaugural First Responder Essential Worker Appreciation Day this weekend. 

The event is a special opportunity for locals to express gratitude to the dedicated individuals who keep the community safe, restore essential services and facilitate recovery efforts.

Following the town's morning Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bunk Bed Build volunteer event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 19, at Town Square Park, the town will gather to raise a glass and thank its essential workers for their tireless efforts.

The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 19 at Windermere Brewing Co., which is located at 111 W. Fifth Avenue, Windermere.
