West Orange High senior baseball player Parker Hohnstock has announced his commitment to play college ball at Saint Leo University.

“All glory to god!” Hohnstock said in his announcement post. “I am so blessed and excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Saint Leo University! I want to thank my family and everyone at Power Baseball and Revolution Sports Performance for helping me become the person and player I am today.”

As a junior, the right-handed pitcher threw 37.1 innings for the Warriors, striking out 50 batters while allowing 14 earned runs for an ERA of 2.62. Hohnstock finished the season with a 5-4 record and held opposing batters to a .209 average.

"It’s been incredible to watch (Parker's) development as both a player and an individual," West Orange coach Mike Scudero said on social media. "His resilience and passion for the game have earned him this well-deserved opportunity and I’m confident he’ll thrive at Saint Leo. I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes him. Looking forward to a great senior year. Proud of you!"
