Local businesswoman Amalie Skorman loves driving around and looking at Halloween decorations, so she decided to sponsor a contest to discover the best ones.

Residents in Winter Garden and Oakland are invited to participate their spooky decorations, glowing pumpkins or full haunted house displays for the opportunity to be rewarded for their creativity.

Skorman, who is with REAL Broker LLC, is looking for epic Halloween porch displays. Contestants can sign up at bit.ly/4h7R1bX; the deadline is midnight Oct. 27. They must have either a 34787 or 34760 ZIP code.

The top four homes will be posted on Skorman’s social media accounts — on Facebook at Amalie Atassi Skorman or on Instagram at FLrunningrealtor — and the public will choose the first- and second-place winners. The winners will be announced on Halloween.
