Universal's Epic Universe announces opening date

Pass holders will have the opportunity to purchase single-day tickets beginning Thursday, Oct. 24.

Universal's Epic Universe has officially announced an opening date, and pass holders will have the opportunity to purchase single-day tickets beginning Thursday, Oct. 24.

The new theme park will open Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Pass holders will receive priority opportunity to purchase the single-day tickets, and additional ticket options, including single-day tickets for the general public and more, will go on sale in the months ahead. 

Epic Universe is the most ambitious theme park Universal Destinations and Experiences has ever created and will feature more than 50 experiences that range from groundbreaking attractions to breathtaking entertainment, incredibly themed dining and shopping, and more.

Epic Universe includes five themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe. 

Anchoring the park is Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, which is a 500-room property that will offer one-of-a-kind views of the park and feature its very own dedicated entrance into Epic Universe for hotel guests.
