Farmers market to feature Health & Harvest Fest

The festival in downtown Winter Garden will offer fitness activities, games, cooking and gardening fun, and more.

Join the city of Winter Garden and Healthy West Orange for the free Health & Harvest Festival taking place during the Winter Garden Farmers Market. The event is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the downtown pavilion and interactive fountain and will include fitness activities, games, giveaways, cooking and gardening fun, and health screenings.

All Health & Harvest Festival activities are complimentary. The pavilion is at 104 S. Lakeview Ave.

Community Editor Amy Quesinberry Price was born at the old West Orange Memorial Hospital and raised in Winter Garden. Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble. She grew up reading The Winter Garden Times and knew in the eighth grade she wanted to write for her community newspaper. She has been part of the writing and editing team since 1990.
