Youth bring in dough at Children’s Entrepreneur Market

A small market held at Farm Nine allowed local children to sell their wares.

A Children’s Entrepreneur Market was held Oct. 19 at Farm Nine in Oakland, and dozens of West Orange County youth set up shop, selling their baked goods, handmade jewelry and other items created by them. The community browsed from tent to tent, looking at the inventory and making purchases.

The Children’s Entrepreneur Market program teaches young people about the power of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership through experiential learning.
