Jersey Mike's opens new location in Horizon West

The new location is located off Avalon Road in the Waterleigh neighborhood area.

A new Jersey Mike's location now is open in the Waterleigh neighborhood area of Horizon West.

The new location opened in August at 10658 Avalon Road, Unit 130, Winter Garden.

Started by Peter Cancro in 1956 in New Jersey, Jersey Mike's is an American submarine sandwich chain. The eatery offers myriad menu options, including specialty subs such as ham and provolone, turkey and cheese, roast beef and provolone, tuna, and veggie.

Currently, there are 2,828 Jersey Mike's locations in the United States, with 297 planned for the future.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
