Dirty car? Let WOHS students wash it

The Action for Animals club at West Orange High will be scrubbing vehicles in Winter Garden.

The Action for Animals club at West Orange High School is holding its first fundraiser by washing cars from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Fifth Third Bank, 3004 Daniels Road, Winter Garden.

The money raised will go to help the nonprofit Polka Dogz Pet Rescue.

Community Editor Amy Quesinberry was born at the old West Orange Memorial Hospital and raised in Winter Garden. Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble.
