Four public boat ramps on Butler Chain of Lakes temporarily close

Due to high water levels from the recent storms, the R.D. Keene, Lake Down, Fern Creek and Randolph Street boat ramps are closed until water levels are reduced.

Four public boat ramps on the Butler Chain of Lakes in the town of Windermere are temporarily closed following high water levels from the recent storms. 

The R.D. Keene, Lake Down, Fern Creek and Randolph Street boat ramps, which are maintained by Orange County, closed Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The boat ramps will remain closed until the water levels are reduced to 9 inches above the Normal High Water Elevation.
