Calling all green thumbs: the Hamlin Petalpalooza blooms this weekend.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 14, at Home State Brewing Co., 16150 New Independence Parkway, Winter Garden.

Local florists will be on hand with pre-arranged fresh flowers, succulents and plants available for purchase. Plus, they can create a unique arrangement just for you.

Sip on coffee from Filigree, enjoy craft brews and enjoy lunch from Home State Brewing — all available for purchase.

The event also will feature live music, kids crafts, face painting and more.

Also, attendees will be able to assist Horizon West American Legion Post 419 as it creates remembrance wreaths for veterans buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The wreaths will be placed on Wreaths Day, Dec. 14.
