Legacy Academy to host free College Prep 101 Parent Workshop

The workshop will focus on the importance of the post high school experience and will feature a range of guest speakers.

Legacy Academy will host a free College Prep 101 Parent Workshop powered by Hi-Lite Coaching + Consulting this weekend.

The workshop will focus on the importance of the post high school experience. 

A guest panel will share details and insights around SAT/ACT Test Prep, post high school education options, how to prepare to fund college, the application process, local and online resources, and more.

The guest panel, facilitated by Hi-Lite Coaching + Consulting, will feature speakers including David Terry, Legacy Events for Education; Lisa Marie, UR Learning Solution; Sandra Labrecque, New York Life; Tatsiana Sokalava, Career Scoops; and Kristine Walsworth, Innovative Collegiate Consultants.

Teens, parents, guardians and educators all are welcome to the event.

The workshop will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Teen Center at the Dr. Phillips YMCA, which is located at 7000 Dr. Phillips Blvd., Orlando.

Light refreshments will be provided at the event.
