TFA football's Danny Odem III commits to UNC

The Royals' 6-foot-1, three-star junior defensive back chose the Tar Heels over UCF, Ole Miss and Liberty.

 The First Academy football player Danny Odem III has announced his commitment to North Carolina after a visit to Chapel Hill for the Tar Heels 38-20 win over Charlotte Saturday, Sept. 7. 

Odem III is a 6-foot-1, three-star junior defensive back who chose to commit his college football future to North Carolina over other offers from UCF, Ole Miss and Liberty. 

In three games this season, he has established himself as a staple on the outside for a stacked TFA defense, recording 24 total tackles, an interception and a pass deflection.
