Home State Brewing Company isn’t waiting until the calendar turns to celebrate Oktoberfest.

The Horizon West brewery will host its Oktoberfest, Ja! event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at 16016 New Independence Parkway, Suite, 100, Winter Garden.

The day will be chock full of brews, bites and Bavarian fun. Attendees will enjoy a live polka band, stein-holding competition, dunk tank, inflatable ax throw, beer puppeteers, food specials and more.
