OCLS branches to close ahead of hurricane Helene impacts

All library branches and book drops will be closed beginning Sept. 26. OCLS plans to reopen Sept. 27 for normal business hours, conditions permitting.

The Orange County Library System has announced it will close its branches ahead of severe weather impacts projected from hurricane Helene. 

The storm is expected to impact the Orange County area Sept. 26.

All library branches and book drops will be closed beginning Sept. 26. 

OCLS plans to reopen Sept. 27 for normal business hours, conditions permitting. 

OCLS representatives will update the organization's website, which can be found here, and social media with additional information if further closures are necessary.
