Rosen JCC to kick off High Holidays celebrations

The Southwest Orange organization’s Erev Rosh Hashanah event takes place Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The Rosen JCC will kick off its High Holidays celebrations next week.

The Southwest Orange organization’s Erev Rosh Hashanah event takes place Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the JCC, 11184 S. Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando. The family-friendly celebration will include short service followed by a traditional Rosh Hashanah dinner.

Then, the JCC will host its Yom Kippur service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. It will be a short service followed by Yizkor. Services will be led by Rabbi Sanford Olshansky.

The cost is $10 per person to attend Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services; free to attend Yom Kippur service only.
