Winter Garden Burger King completes renovations

The old building has been replaced with a new 3,349-square-foot building with an expanded drive-thru.

The Winter Garden Burger King has now completed its renovations.

The inside of the Burger King is now newly updated.

The previous Burger King building off West Colonial Drive was demolished in May.

At a Winter Garden City Commission meeting in April 2023, the city approved the new site plan for the property at 13500 W. Colonial Drive.

At the meeting, Planning Director Kelly Carson said the new building will be slightly smaller, and there will be an added bypass lane for the drive-thru to provide better circulation.

The old building now has been replaced with a new 3,349-square-foot building with an expanded drive-thru.

Additionally, a directional median was installed on the Daniels Road driveway to ensure it is right-out only.
