Apparently, having the majority of the billboard space throughout West Orange and Southwest Orange wasn’t enough.

Now, luxury clothier Tweeds has announced new marketing deals with the cities of Winter Garden and Ocoee, as well as the town of Oakland, to have its billboards installed at every stoplight in the area.

The town of Windermere has no traffic lights, so it is saved from the Tweeds takeover.

This increase in advertising totals several hundred more billboards throughout the area.

In some cases, the billboard will replace the stoplight entirely, with the word “Tweeds” being illuminated with red, yellow or green LEDs as the signals turn.

Unfortunately, Tweeds was not successful in incorporating left-turn arrows into its logo, so motorists seeking to turn left will have to get used to gunning it whenever there is a break in oncoming traffic.

Tweeds’ marketing department calls the new initiative “The Need for Tweeds.”

Furthermore, the clothier expects to announce a future deal with Orange County to install the signs on every stoplight in Horizon West, as well as replace all the marquees in front of every Orange County Public Schools campus.
