WGPD offers women's self-defense class

Female resident 13 and older can learn how to protect themselves in this free program.

The Winter Garden Police Department will host a free basic women’s self-defense class from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24. The class is instructed by a police officer certified using S.A.F.E. self-defense techniques.

Women ages 13 and older are invited to participate. The class takes place in the WGPD training room, 251 W. Plant St., Winter Garden.
