Thousands of folks flocked to downtown Winter Garden this weekend for a two-day plant and flower festival hosted by Bloom & Grow Garden Society and the city of Winter Garden. Spring Fever in the Garden brought together vendors, plants, garden-themed merchandise, fun activities and more Saturday and Sunday, April 5 and 6.
The popular Chalkin’ It Up! sidewalk art contest gave guests a chance to see art in progress in front of City Hall. In People’s Choice, Jordan Jones won first place and Jack and Peyton Cottle took second. In the Best in Show category, Shelly Braton took home the first-place award, Eliana and Sabrina Koestner came in second place, and Lucas Bree won third place.
The weekend included music by Rumba Brothers, The Astronomics, The Sandy Back Porch Band, Don Soledad and Sound Traveler Band.
