The eastbound Interstate 4 exit ramp to Sand Lake Road at Exit 74A will be closed overnight Thursday, April 17, for utility maintenance.

The ramp closure is scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m. on Thursday night and is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, Florida Department of Transportation officials said.

During the ramp closure, motorists traveling on eastbound I-4 who wish to access Sand Lake Road will continue east and take Exit 75A at Universal Boulevard. Drivers will then turn right onto southbound Universal Boulevard and proceed to Sand Lake Road.

FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change because of weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
