West Orange High School’s award-winning theater program will present three encore performances of “Ragtime: School Edition.”

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 7, and Saturday, March 8, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at West Orange High School, 1625 Beulah Road, Winter Garden. Parking could be limited on Friday, March 7, so make sure you arrive early.

“Ragtime: School Edition” tracks three diverse families in pursuit of the American dream in the volatile “melting pot” of turn-of-the-century New York. The production confronts the dialectic contradictions inherent in American reality: experiences of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, and hope and despair.
