Winter Garden Library getting refresh

The branch will be closed through Feb. 15.

The Winter Garden Library closed Monday for a refresh, and it will remain closed to the public through Feb. 15.

Residents wanting to check out books or use the library’s resources can visit any of the other branches, including three in West Orange County. The West Oaks Library is at 1821 E. Silver Star Road, Ocoee. The Windermere Library is located at 530 Main St., Windermere. The Hiawassee branch is at 7391 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando.

Community Editor Amy Quesinberry Price was born at the old West Orange Memorial Hospital and raised in Winter Garden. Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble. She grew up reading The Winter Garden Times and knew in the eighth grade she wanted to write for her community newspaper. She has been part of the writing and editing team since 1990.
