Amazon expands same-day grocery delivery to Orlando

Amazon now is providing same-day grocery delivery in Orlando.

Orlando is the second city in the U.S. that Amazon is providing same-day grocery delivery, according to a news release. 

Amazon trialed the new service in the greater Phoenix area over the past year, and it has "shown promising results," according to the release. 

Thousands of grocery items, including fresh produce, will be available for delivery. 

The first grocery item sold at the same-day delivery site in Orlando earlier this week was Kerrygold butter, according to the release.
