Ocoee High football star player Michael McClenton has announced his commitment to play college football at UCF.

"After long nights, ... prayers and conversations with my family and coaches, I have decided to commit to the University of Central Florida."

McClenton, the Orange Observer 2023 player of the year and 2024 defensive player of the year, is a 6-foot, 225-pound junior linebacker who has filled up the stat sheet the past two seasons for the Ocoee Knights — recording 421 total tackles, 91 tackles for a loss, 50 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.

He chose the UCF Knights over other offers from Liberty, Marshall and Tennesse State.
