Time to renew vote-by-mail requests

All vote-by-mail requests expired Dec. 31 and must be renewed for future elections.

In order to participate in elections this year by mail ballots, people are being reminded to renew their vote-by-mail requests. 

All prior Florida vote-by-mail requests expired as of Jan. 1. It is required by state law that voters renew their requests after each federal general election. 

Here's how you can renew your vote-by-mail request:

  • Online on the Orange County Supervisor of Elections' website
  • By mail, fax or email: Download and complete a vote-by-mail request form from available on the Orange County Supervisor of Elections' website. Mail it to P.O. Box 562001, Orlando, FL 32856-2001. Email the form on the website. Fax the form to 407-254-6577.
  • By phone: Call 407-836-8683.


The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed is no later than 5 p.m. on the 12th day before the election.
