New Foundation Academy football coach Daniel White has begun to fill out his coaching staff, recently announcing the hire of Jordan Richards as the Lions' defensive coordinator.

Richards — a Foundation alum — began his coaching career at his alma mater, serving as the defensive coordinator and athletic facilities manager from 2021-22, following graduating from UCF with a degree in kinesiology and exercise science.

"We're excited to welcome Coach Richards and his wife, Lauren, back to the FAmily," the school's announcement said. "We look forward to seeing how God will use Coach Richards to impact our students and lead our football program to new heights."

Most recently, Richards served as the boys weightlifting coach, an assistant football coach and the athletic facilities manager at The First Academy.

Beyond his role on the football staff, Richards will also be a P.E. teacher at Foundation; he is set to begin his role Jan. 21.
