Windermere High boys hoops wins West Metro Conference championship

The Wolverines (16-3) tops Evans High (14-4), 70-67, in the conference title game to claim the West Metro crown.

The Windermere High boys basketball team topped Evans High in the West Metro Conference championship game Jan. 10 by a score of 70-67.

With the win, the Wolverines move to 16-3 on the season and are ranked as MaxPreps' No. 2 FHSAA Class 7A team, No. 7 team in the state and No. 65 team in the nation. 

Senior T.J. Drain, a 6-foot-8 forward and Liberty signee, has led Windermere this season, breaking the program's single-game scoring record and crossing the 1,000-point career milestone.
