Foundation Academy to host its first-ever girls weightlifting district meet

The Lions will host district rivals Montverde Academy, Windermere Prep, Tenoroc High, New Dimensions High and Discovery High at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24.

For the first time in program history, the Foundation Academy girls weightlifting team will host the Class 1A, District 11 championship meet Friday, Jan. 24. Weigh-ins will begin at 10 a.m.

The meet will be held at Leiferman Family Gymnasium on Foundation's Tilden campus.

Competing against the Lions' weightlifters for district titles will be area-team Windermere Prep, along with Montverde Academy, Tenoroc High, New Dimensions High and Discovery High.
