Windermere Prep girls soccer wins district championship over TFA, 4-1

Along with clinching their spot in the state playoffs, the Lakers' district finals win is the first in the program's history.

Windermere Prep girls soccer claims the first district championship in program history, topping The First Academy, 4-1 — clinching a spot in the FHSAA Class 2A state playoffs Tuesday, Feb. 11. 

With the win, the Lakers move to 5-5-5 on the season. Leading the way for WPS this season has been USC commit Alyssa Parsons — who has bagged 21 goals, so far.
