The First Academy football offensive lineman Chancellor Barclay — the 34th ranked 2026 prospect in the country, according to 247Sports Composite ranking — has narrowed his list of colleges down to 10.

Barclay, the Observer’s 2025 Player of the Year, announced he will be considering the following schools: Alabama, Clemson, Florida, FSU, Georgia, Oklahoma, Miami, Penn State, Texas A&M and West Virginia. A few notable schools that the Royals’ junior left out of the top 10 are UCF, Auburn and UNC.

He also recently announced official visits to four of those 10 schools — Clemson (5/30-6/1), Florida (6/6-6/8), Georgia (6/13-6/15) and Oklahoma (6/20-6/22) — and met with Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and offensive line coach Matt Luke at TFA.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound interior lineman is a four-star recruit who was crucial to leading a TFA line that dominated its opponents on the field in 2024. The Royals offense averaged 35.1 points per game against a murderer’s row of opponents, largely thanks to Barclay and his fellow big boys up front.
