First District 1 Safety Expo scheduled for April in Horizon West

The Safety Expo will feature live demos, family activities and a chance to meet first responders.

Orange County District 1 will have its first Safety Expo. 

Nicole Wilson, the District 1 representative of the Orange County Board of County Commissioners, and the O.C. Citizen Corps Council are sponsoring the Safety Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Horizon High School.

The expo is focused on safety on the road and in the community and will give attendees an opportunity to learn about pedestrian, bicycle and driver safety. 

The free expo will feature live demonstrations from Orange County Fire Rescue and the Orange County Sheriff's Office. It also will include family activities, a chance to meet first responders, food trucks, local vendors and more.
