Former Dr. Phillips High girls basketball player Trinity Turner has capped off a successful first season as a member of the Georgia Lady Bulldogs by earning a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team.

Turner not only led Georgia in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per game, but became the first freshman to do so since 2004 and was fifth among all freshmen in the conference in scoring. The first-year point guard had her best outing of the season on the road at LSU, scoring 28 points and had a SportsCenter Top 10 play-worthy buzzer-beating three-pointer against Missouri to give Georgia the win.

Along with leading the Bulldogs in scoring, the former Lady Panther started 26 of 32 games and totaled the second-most steals (52) and assists (92) on the team.
