Hundreds upon hundreds of beer connoisseurs enjoyed perfect weather and free-flowing brews as Legacy Events for Education and Observer Media Group presented the second annual Hamlin Craft Beer Festival.
Held Saturday, March 29, at the Hamlin Green Space, this year’s festival featured beverage samples from nearly 40 different regional and national breweries and companies. The event was nearly twice as big as the inaugural festival held in 2024, Legacy Events for Education President David Terry said.
In addition to the beverages, attendees enjoyed food from variety of food trucks and vendors; lawn games; and live music from the Atlanta-based arena rock group, Shyanne. Those who shelled out extra for the VIP treatment received early entrance into the festival, special seating, food and a commemorative T-shirt.

Money raised at the festival benefits Legacy, a 501c3 non-profit public charity that has delivered more than $120,000 in scholarships and grants to local graduates and their schools. The organization also offers a variety of classes to assist local students and their families.
