Orange County Clerk of Courts announces run for mayor

Tiffany Moore Russell has announced her candidacy for Orange County Mayor in the 2026 election.

Tiffany Moore Russell has thrown her name into the ring for the 2026 election for Orange County Mayor. 

Russell currently serves as the Orange County Clerk of Courts. She made history in 2014 when she was the first African American female clerk elected in Florida and the first African American clerk in Orange County. 

Previously she was a District 6 Orange County Commissioner. She was elected to the Orange County Commission in 2006 and was the youngest commissioner ever elected. She served two terms on the commission.
