SANFORD — The Olympia Titans scored early and often Friday afternoon, jumping out to a quick lead against Suncoast High and never looking back.
The Titans (10-4) scored four runs apiece in the first and second innings and seven runs in the fourth to dispatch with the Chargers 16-2 in five innings.
Collin McMahon went 3-for-3 with three runs driven in to lead the offensive outpouring for Olympia. Three other Titans — Austin Vetter, Brenden Riley and Alex Britton — finished with a pair of RBIs, each.
Jeslyn Whitehead got the start and the win on the mound for Olympia, pitching four innings and allowing just five hits while striking out two. Jacob Drury came on in relief, pitching the fifth inning for the Titans.
