LAKE NONA The Windermere Wolverines faced another tough task for a first-year program without any seniors this week, this time traveling to take on Lake Nona.
The Lions' dynamic passing attack, led by senior quarterback Michael Kearns, proved to be too much for the Wolverines (0-5), as Lake Nona (2-1) jumped out to a quick lead and a running clock en route to a 49-0 victory.
The Wolverines' next game will be Oct. 6 at Harmony (3-2).
