Windermere secures Homecoming win in dramatic fashion

It certainly wasn't the prettiest game, but the 2022 Windermere vs. Lake Buena Vista tilt might have been the most dramatic of the season.

On Homecoming night, the Wolverines found the end zone with just 39 seconds left to pull ahead of the Vipers, 21-18. Then, when it needed to the most, the Windermere defense stood tall in the face of four final downs, as Lake Buena Vista tried to find some last-second heroics to secure its first ever victory.

Windermere's stadium was full of Windy City spirit, with the marching band, cheerleaders, Wolverettes dance team and bleachers full of fans supporting their football team.
